The Canyet de rapinyaires Lo Pagès del Montsec has an area of 65 ha. The most outstanding wildlife includes some mammals and large scavengers such as the common vulture, the bearded vulture, the Egyptian vulture, the Bonelli’s eagle, the black vulture, the red kite, the roe deer, the fox, the wild boar, the horseshoes, the seals, badgers, etc.
The purpose of the Canyet is to protect, encourage and take advantage of wildlife, and to preserve its ecosystems.
It has two observatories / hides equipped and integrated into the environment, which allow you to observe closely and photograph the main scavenger species, such as the bearded vulture, the common vulture, the black vulture, the Egyptian vulture, the Bonelli’s eagle, the red kite, among others.
